WHO EMRO Call for research proposals

Research in Priority Areas of Public Health 2014-2015 for short research projects

Between $10,000 and $20,000 for each proposal, duration <10 months.

Focusing on 5 main strategic directions:

  • Health System Strengthening
  • Maternal, reproductive and child health and nutrition
  • Noncommunicable diseases
  • Communicable diseases
  • Emergency preparedness and response

 

To these objectives:

  1. Generate local knowledge relevant to 5 main areas
  2. Assist capacity-building for research through learning by doing and hands on training
  3. Strengthen the link between evidence generation and health policy making
  4. Enhance experience-exchange between the Region's Member States

 

The deadline is 31st December 2014
